HYALOFAST^® is a Hyaff-based scaffold for mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to be used in the treatment of chondral and osteochondral lesions.

Preclinical in vitro and in vivo data have been collected to characterize HYALOFAST® and demonstrate that, thanks to its properties and structure, MSCs can properly regenerate the osteochondral tissue.

Several clinical experiences have been published on HYALOFAST® used as one-step treatment of osteochondral lesions.

Clinical data confirm its safety and excellent medium-long term results in terms of clinical outcome and MRI-assessed defect healing.

In this section we report the main preclinical and clinical publications related to the use of HYALOFAST® in the treatment of osteochondral lesions of the knee and ankle.
